Sweet and Sour Fish Balls
Ingredients

Ingredients for Fish Balls

  • 2 pieces of mackerel meat
  • 6 tablespoon cold water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 teaspoon tapioca flour
  • ¼ teaspoon soda bicarbonate

* Blend together

Ingredients for Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 scoop blended dried chilli
  • 1 onion *
  • 3 cloves garlic *
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 scoop brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tomato – cut into cube
Instructions

Instructions For the Fish Ball

  • Blend finely flesh of fish with water, salt and pepper.
  • Add corn flour, tapioca floor and soda bicarbonate.
  • Blend well and until chewy.
  • Wet hands. Shaped the dough into balls the size of a 20 cents coin.
  • Boil water, add fish balls. Fish balls will arise when cooked. Drained and set aside.

Instructions For the Sauce

  • Heat oil. Fry all blended ingredients until crisp.
  • When crisped, add water. Let boiled.
  • Add brown sugar, salt and sauce. Stir well.
  • Add fish balls and tomato. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  • Switch off stove and serve.
