Bertanggungjawab mengenai segala perkara yang berkaitan dengan perkhidmatan pesakit dialisis Peringkat Akhir/End Stage Renal Disease di dalam situasi yang kronik.

  • Menyelia dan menjaga pesakit secara keseluruhan namun tidak terhad kepada pemantauan dan pengambilan tanda-tanda vital, permulaan dan pemberhentian dialisis, menguruskan dokumentasi, menilai keadaan fizikal dan rawatan pesakit, merekodkan arahan daripada pakar perubatan, mendokumentasi dan merekod panduan berdasarkan keputusan makmal
  • Mengenalpasti tanda-tanda trauma, peka terhadap keadaan mental dan fizikal pesakit, mematuhi arahan pakar perubatan terhadap rawatan dialisis pesakit, dan memantau rekod perubatan pesakit
  • Menganalisa pencapaian pesakit, data makmal dan sekiranya perlu, menyampaikan isu-isu yang berbangkit yang berkaitan dengan pesakit kepada pakar perubatan
  • Memberitahu setiap kecemasan, komplikasi yang kritikal dan perkara yang membahayakan nyawa pesakit kepada penyelia, Pengarah Perubatan, Pengarah Operasi Serantau, Pentadbir Fasiliti dan Pentadbir Kumpulan Fasiliti
  • Menilai pesakit dan keluarga pesakit berkaitan dengan pengetahuan mereka mengenai dialisis dan perkara-perkara yang berkaitan, juga menyampaikan maklumat berkaitan dengan penyakit buah pinggang dan rawatan yang diperlukan oleh pesakit, termasuk impaknya terhadap kesihatan dan cara kehidupan pesakit
  • Menjalankan terapi dialisis, termasuk namun tidak terhad kepada pelan yang dicadangkan oleh pakar perubatan, menilai kadar ultrafiltrasi, mengesahkan bahawa faktor keselamatan sentiasa dipatuhi, memantau ubatan dan rawatan pesakit, menghentikan dialisis mengikut prosedur yang telah ditetapkan, mendokumentasikan segala aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan kesihatan pesakit
  • Memberi taklimat kepada pesakit mengenai penjagaan sebelum dan selepas dialisis
  • Mentadbir penjagaan kesihatan pesakit dengan hormat dan cermat
  • Mengambil bahagian di dalam perkembangan pelaksanaan pelan jangka pendek dan jangka panjang pesakit, dan merekod perkembangan bulanan pesakit

  • Berdaftar dengan Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia
  • Memiliki sijil perkhidmatan terkini
  • Baru menamatkan pembelajaran, memiliki pengalaman kurang daripada setahun selepas memiliki lesen 
  • Mempunyai pengalaman menguruskan dialisis kurang daripada 3 bulan

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position is a key member of DaVita’s field management team. This position is responsible for the general management and oversight of operations. This position provides strategic and tactical leadership, counsel and direction to the field management of DaVita to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care.  Additionally, this position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors division performance, and works closely with General Manager to develop competitive strategies in alignment with DaVita’s mission and values. Position has budget and P&L accountability.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Yes

Position has full supervisory responsibility for recruitment, hiring, retention, performance development, performance management, salary adjustments, and termination of direct reports. Position has general, overall responsibility for teammate decisions within region.

  • Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned division
    • Track metrics and success criteria including ROI for all activities
    • Analyze current center trends impacting patient service delivery
    • Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutions
    • Lead the creation and implementation of teammate development processes and succession planning including mentoring, coaching, and modeling appropriate leadership behaviors
  • Manage financial and revenue growth, operations and labor management, contract management, and clinical outcomes within the division
  • Fulfill broad-reaching, strategic responsibility for the development and implementation of proactive programs, operational improvements, communications, and other division-specific general management responsibilities
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of competition; proactively assess related SWOT (division strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats); analyze and implement effective responses
  • Participate actively in joint venture business meetings as applicable
  • Maintain a liaison relationship between the corporate office and field operations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any field is required
  • At least seven (7) years’ progressive management experience required
  • Healthcare provider operating experience strongly preferred, dialysis or similar provider services experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of successful fiscal and operating management; demonstrated financial expertise
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and managing at strategic and operational levels
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel required; intermediate skills and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint required

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for the implementation of quality programs, policy and procedure training, clinical audits, Risk Assessment Audit, corrective actions and closure, supporting clinical education in their area of responsibility. The function of each individual may vary depending on the needs and structure of the business.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Yes

Responsible for the clinical performance of hemodialysis and Vascular Access in clinical services teammates. Supervises clinical services teammates within their area of responsibility to ensure appropriate maintenance of safe clinical environments and the appropriate and safe provision of clinical care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALITY OUTCOMES

  • Supports Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities in collaborative with Quality Team.
  • Monitors and follows up on AOR investigation process
  • Assists in the development, review, revision, and roll-out of clinical procedures.
  • Assisting CMO/ ROM in the identification and development of clinic -specific education and outcome goals.
  • Assists in implementation and monitoring of goals to achieve desired results.
  • Benchmarks clinical audits, identifies and shares best practices.
  • Coordinates review and investigation of sentinel adverse occurrences and participates in correction planning and follow-up as requested.
  • Provides training and monitors implementation of clinical policies and procedures in the center(s).
  • Performs external audits as indicated per audit policy and provide support in developing a plan of correction; works with FA, Quality Team, CMO and Regional Operation manager to ensure implementation and resolution of deficiencies.
  • Provides timely submission of all reports and data collection requests to CMO/ ROM.

EDUCATION

  • Works with CMO/ ROM to Provides training and monitor to support the implementation of clinical policies and procedures in the center(s).
  • Assisting in Implementation of teammates education programs which will include but not be limited to new teammate orientation program and Supports in-center teammate development.
  • Monitors trends and reports outcomes in the center(s) and QA/QI team provides education which assists the centers to improve outcomes.
  • Ascertains specific training needs in assigned region, develops and implements plan to address needs as agreed with the CMO/ ROM.
  • Assists in preceptor training program(s) as assigned.
  • Provides continuing education and in-services /materials to teammates and patients to improve knowledge base and to meet regulatory and safety requirements as needed.
  • Provides timely submission of all reports and data collection requests to corporate support teams.
  • Supports management training as needed.
  • Assists in corporate initiatives and special projects as assigned.

ADDITIONAL 

  • Attends mandatory training as part of the onboarding process and continuing mandatory requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Current valid APC.
  • Education commensurate with above licensure/registration, Diploma in Nursing/ Bachelor’s degree in nursing or associated field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years in nephrology nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience at clinic management.
  • Experience in Clinical Quality Initiatives methodology and techniques preferred.
  • Experience in teaching the adult learner strongly preferred with demonstrated ability to communicate technical/medical information in lay terms as necessary.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

This position supports DaVita’s operations in Malaysia in providing paralegal support to the Senior Legal Counsel – Malaysia, and Singapore, with special emphasis on management and drafting of tenancy agreements, operational contracts, data protection, legal/regulatory and corporate governance matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support day-to-day operational legal and regulatory needs
  • Assist in managing tenancy agreements such maintaining a tracker ie, keeping track of expiry dates of tenancy, and physician agreements for all clinics
  • Coordinate corporate filings for legal entities and support their licensing and company secretarial requirements
  • Management and organization of contracts using our internal database (CONGA)
  • Assist with uploading of documents on legalease platform (mainly corporate secretarial documents)
  • Keeping track of agreements for stamping and filing them
  • Assist with personal data protection matters (keeping track of renewal, payments for the licenses and organize training for office teammates)
  • Support in outside counsel management and billing system
  • Assist in drafting simple agreements and standard agreements based on template eg. tenancy agreements and any documents related thereto, operational contracts related to procurement and IT, NDAs and relevant correspondence.
  • Coordinate execution and sign off for contracts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, applicable licenses, certifications, and experience are required to fulfill the essential duties, including excellent computer skills as required.

  • Degree in law and knowledge in company law, contract law and basic legal principles gained from practical experience
  • 4 - 5 years experience working as a junior legal counsel in an in-house legal department, a law firm or co-sec services firm. Candidates with in-house counsel experience will have an added advantage.
  • Excellent proficiency in relevant IT skills, e.g. advanced word processing, Excel, and Powerpoint presentation skills.
  • Ability to creatively present legal related data/information in a simplified format using IT or power point tools

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position is responsible for management and oversight for the stock and procurement process for medical supplies, capital equipment, and any other purchases necessary for operation of DaVita Malaysia. This position works closely with supplier representatives, finance and center operations teams to place orders and follow up on supply needs, while performing business analytics and leading strategic initiatives for cost savings.

  • Vendor Management
    • Analyze past years spend trends to forecast volume for upcoming years and lead team in regular RFP process, Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals.
    • Liaise with suppliers on the sourcing of new products, price negotiations, quality, volume, lead times, contract and payment terms, obtaining various quotations and contract agreements
    • Evaluate suppliers and meet up with potential ones on a regular basis to build business relationship
  • Manage inventory to ensure that all centers have sufficient stocks and appropriate stock holding at all times
    • Create and distribute monthly reports for finance and operations
    • Review and manage inventory holdings are at its appropriate level at all times
    • Compile and reconcile monthly inventory physical counts

    • Develop minimum and maximum stock levels for each center, with set reorder points
  • Drive cost saving initiatives on supplies

    • Develop training program for FAs and Center Inventory Champions
  • Attending all centres inventory physical count by stages and plan schedule ahead.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Business major is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years’ of relevant experience with at least 3 years at a Supervisor/ Manager capacity

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As a Medical Doctor in the Dialysis Unit, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of dialysis centers, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, and providing high-quality medical care to patients with end-stage kidney disease. Your primary focus will be to maintain the safety and well-being of patients and teammates, participate in policy development, and continuously improve the unit's performance. It is essential to observe and comply with all company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and directions while maintaining professional integrity.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining professional certifications, licenses, and insurance coverage as required by relevant authorities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the operations of dialysis centers:
  • Ensure smooth operations and procedural compliance at designated dialysis centers.
  • Monitor and manage the overall infrastructure planning and handling of the centers.
  • Supervise procedural compliance in waste and water management.
  • Monitor the overall management of the total main program.
  • Patients' health :
  • Be involved in day-to-day patient management.
  • Assess hemodynamic status, indication of dialysis, vascular access, and comorbid illnesses before starting dialysis.
  • Directly monitor dialysis procedures, including dialysis prescription, care of vascular access, adequacy of flow, and complications during dialysis.
  • Check access site, hemodynamic status, and complications at the time of closure.
  • Ensure that all patients are medically reviewed by visiting nephrologists and can continue to be dialyzed safely without compromising their health status.
  • Identify and manage problems with patients by adjusting medications and dialysis parameters between nephrologist visits.
  • Ensure timely blood profile testing for each patient, review and interpret the results, and take necessary actions based on the findings.
  • Refer patients with complications requiring specialist opinions or admit them for further management at referral centers.
  • Ensure compliance and safety:
  • Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with norms and standards required by regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain standing arrangements with other medical practitioners for immediate medical care and implement emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Ensure the safety of patients and staff in the hemodialysis unit.
  • Participate in the development and periodic review of policies and procedures.
  • Implement a performance assessment and improvement program.
  • Provide staff education and performance management.
  • Ensure the availability of a patient education program.
  • Ensure haemodialysis patients have access to appropriate medical care when needed.
  • Ad-hoc/Other duties:
  • Plan and present data for the enhancement of the centers as approved by management.
  • Ensure that hemodialysis care provided aligns with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
  • Plan for future development of the hemodialysis facility, including the introduction of new medical technology.
  • Collaborate with management to maintain the primary focus on providing high-quality hemodialysis care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, including computer skills as required.
  • Degree in Medicine from a recognized university.
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a practicing doctor.
  • Experience in a dialysis unit treating end-stage kidney disease patients is preferable.
  • BLS/ACLS certification is preferable.
  • Ability to work independently and travel as required.
  • Own transportation.
  • Keenness to learn and acquire new skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to travel whenever necessary.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to create presentations and effectively use the internet.
