GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position is responsible for the delivery of all dialysis related nursing services for the End Stage Renal Disease patient in a chronic setting.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No

  • Supervises and performs direct patient care including but not limited to taking and monitoring vital signs, initiation and termination of dialysis, documentation, physical assessment of patients and patient treatments, taking and transcription of physician’s orders, drawing and documentation or ordered laboratory work
  • Notes signs of trauma, patient’s general physical and mental condition, reviews dialysis orders, documents observations in patient medical records
  • Analyzes patient assessments, laboratory data and, when concerns are noted, brings issues to the attention of the physician
  • Communicates all emergencies, patient life-threatening complications and related incidents to supervisor, Medical Director, Regional Operations Manager and Facility Administrator
  • Assesses patient and family learning readiness and provides appropriate information on renal disease, prescribed dialysis treatment, and medical regimen and its impact on the patient’s state of health and well-being
  • Provides dialysis therapy, including but not limited to formulating dialysis plan per physician orders, weight and rate of ultrafiltration, verifying safety measures are in place and complied with, administering medications or other appropriate treatments, discontinuing dialysis according to established procedure, documenting all activity appropriately
  • Instructs patients on pre- and post-dialysis care
  • Administers patient quality care in a considerate, respectful manner
  • Participates in the development and implementation of the patient’s short and long term plan of care and monthly progress note
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, including computer skills as required.

  • Registered as a general nurse with Malaysia Nursing Board
  • Current annual practicing certificate
  • Holds an approved nephrology nursing qualification, post-basic qualification for nephrology

  • Responsible for driving and spearheading clinical initiatives in their region
  • Assist the dialysis unit Consultant Nephrologist(s) as necessary
  • Attend to the day-to-day medical needs of patients in a dialysis unit including interpretation of blood test results, wound care, etc.
  • Attend to CODE BLUE situations
  • To observe principles of infection and control are followed during care of patients
  • To maintain good communication between patients and dialysis unit staff
  • Participate in CNE training activities as well as health education to patients
  • Assist in ensuring CKAP / UKAP / MSQH requirements are adhered to
REQUIREMENTS:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This position is a key member of DaVita’s field management team. This position is responsible for the general management and oversight of operations. This position provides strategic and tactical leadership, counsel and direction to the field management of DaVita to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care.  Additionally, this position identifies and develops strategic growth opportunities, monitors division performance, and works closely with General Manager to develop competitive strategies in alignment with DaVita’s mission and values. Position has budget and P&L accountability.

  • Develop and execute strategic operating plans and goals for assigned division
    • Track metrics and success criteria including ROI for all activities
    • Analyze current center trends impacting patient service delivery

    • Lead the creation and implementation of teammate development processes and succession planning including mentoring, coaching, and modeling appropriate leadership behaviors
  • Manage financial and revenue growth, operations and labor management, contract management, and clinical outcomes within the division
  • Fulfill broad-reaching, strategic responsibility for the development and implementation of proactive programs, operational improvements, communications, and other division-specific general management responsibilities

Success at a DaVita dialysis facility is measured by how well patients respond to their dialysis treatments. The FA is responsible for monitoring patient clinical outcomes utilizing DaVita's quality metric (DQI) in coordination with doctors, nurses and the interdisciplinary team.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions whilst ensuring strict compliance to the internal controls requirements, policies and procedures.

  • Handle full process of billings functions, which includes:
    • Responsible for sending accurate monthly invoices timely to patients and sponsors
    • Responsible for accurately apply/update payment receipts
    • Closely monitor and collect outstanding debts to maintain a low Days-SalesOutstanding (DSO)
    • Issue monthly Statement of Account to patients
  • Ensure the accuracy of cash collection reported in clinics “Daily Cash Report”
  • Able to detect any irregularities in cash collection at centres
  • Ensure patients have valid Guarantee Letters (“GL”) and ensure timely renewals
  • Posting daily and month end transaction to ensure that transactions are captured in the accounting system on a timely basis  Maintain and keep a proper filing of all documents  Ability to travel where required as part of debt recovery process
  • To perform other ad hoc assignments as required

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

This position supports DaVita’s operations in Malaysia in providing paralegal support to the Senior Legal Counsel – Malaysia, and Singapore, with special emphasis on legal/regulatory including tenancy agreements, data protection and corporate governance matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support day-to-day operational legal and regulatory needs
  • Assisting in managing the tracker ie, keeping track of expiry dates of tenancy and physician agreements for all clinics
  • Coordinate corporate filings for legal entities and support their licensing and company secretarial requirements
  • Management and organization of contracts using our internal database (CONGA)
  • Assist with uploading of documents on legalease platform (mainly corporate secretarial documents)
  • Keeping track of agreements for stamping and filing them
  • Assist with personal data protection matters (keeping track of renewal, payments for the licenses and organize training for office teammates)  Support in outside counsel management and billing system
  • Assist in drafting simple agreements and standard agreements based on template eg. tenancy agreements, renewals, amendments, terminations, NDAs and correspondence related.
  • Coordinate execution and sign off for contracts
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, applicable licenses, certifications, and experience are required to fulfill the essential duties, including excellent computer skills as required.

  • Degree in law and knowledge in company law, contract law and basic legal principles gained from practical experience
  • 4 - 5 years experience working as a junior legal counsel in an in-house legal department, a law firm or co-sec services firm,. Candidates with in-house counsel experience will have an added advantage.
  • Excellent proficiency in relevant IT skills, e.g. advanced word processing, Excel, and Powerpoint presentation skills.
  • Ability to creatively present legal related data/information in a simplified format using IT tools.
