Cantonese Kuetiaw

Cantonese Kuetiaw
  • 3 tablespoon of cooking oil
  • 4 cups of kuetiaw
  • 3 cloves of garlic - chopped
  • 1 ½ chicken breast - diced
  • 2 stalks of green mustard – cut small
  • ¾ cups of water
  • 3 tablespoons of thick soy sauce
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tablespoon corn flour *
  • 2 tablespoons of water *

* mixed

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil dan fry the kuetiaw, then set aside.
  2. Using the same wok, heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil, add onion and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken and stir for a few minutes.
  4. Add green mustard.
  5. Add water and season with thick soy sauce. Let boiled.
  6. Add egg and stir well.
  7. Add mixture of corn flour little by little until thick gravy is formed. Stir well.
  8. Transfer into a serving plate and serve immediately.
