Cucumber and Pineapple Salad
Ingredients
- 1½ cups cucumber, deseeded. Sliced cucumber with skin intact.
- 1 cut of pineapple, about 1.5cm x 9cm, deskinned and cut into cubes
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 3 red chillies, seed removed and sliced
- 5 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt (if needed)
Instructions
- Mix cucumber, pineapple, red chillies and onion in a salad bowl.
- Add lime juice and sugar, mixed well.
- Cover the bowl with plastic and leave overnight in the fridge before serving.
- Season salad with salt according to one’s taste, transfer into a serving plate.
